My research interests are in deep learning, machine learning and natural language understanding. I currently focus on using large-scale structured/unstructured data to build models that can represent natural languages.

I was a researcher in Machine Learning Group and Natural Language Processing Group in Microsoft Research, Redmond.

I got my Ph.D. at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with Dan Roth. I also had the great pleasure to work with Chih-Jen Lin when I was in National Taiwan University.
